What is the Community Justice Portal?

It is a virtual environment where information exchange, networking and e-learning can take place amongst those working in the community and criminal justice system

Is access to the portal free?


The Portal itself is free - only a simple registration procedure is demanded. To access e-learning there will be a range of payments according to the type of event. Contributing news and press releases is free. Details of how to contribute are shown below

I keep seeing the login screen when I try to access the information on the portal

This means that you have not yet logged in. Only registered users who have logged in can see all the information on the site.

How do I register?

Click on the registration button on the login screen and enter your details. You only need to supply a user name, password and email address though the more information we hold about you, the better able we are to tailor the portal to meet your needs. If you wish, you can also set preferences for the subject areas or types of content you are interested in.

I have forgotten my user name and password

Click on the forgotten details button on the login screen and enter the email address you used to register. The details will be sent to you immediately by email.

Who manages the Community Justice Portal?


The portal is managed by the Hallam Centre for Community Justice, based in Sheffield Hallam University's Faculty of Development and Society.
