Exploring New Themes for Legal Education Research

LERN is delighted to welcome Professor Malcolm Tight, Professor of Higher Education at Lancaster University to lead this Workshop. Professor Tight is currently working on a second edition of his monograph, Researching Higher Education, and will draw on his most recent research to provide an overview of the principal areas of recent and current research into HE. He will also use case-studies of recently published research, indicating possible fruitful areas of future research, to illustrate his talk.

 

The afternoon will comprise a panel follow-up discussion of potential legal education research which can draw upon themes indicated by Professor Tight, and consideration of research ideas suggested by the Workshop participants. Included on the panel will be Alison Bone, Graeme Broadbent, Tony Bradney, Fiona Cownie and Andrew Francis Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas/plans to the Workshop.
