Rectification Notices on Oakhill Secure Training Centre Lifted

The YJB can today confirm that, rectification notices on Oakhill Secure Training Centre, in Milton Keynes, have been lifted.

In May 2008, the YJB put the centre under special measures to ensure that it fully carried out its contractual obligations. Since then the YJB has closely monitored the centre’s performance and reviewed the centre on a weekly basis.

Earlier this year, assessments were undertaken and the centre was assessed as fully operational. The YJB is now satisfied that the centre has rectified the issues identified.

However, the YJB will continue to closely monitor the situation and progress at Oakhill STC through effective monitoring and targeted assessments.
