This is the first annual progress review on objectives and targets set out in the action plan, 'Working with the third sector to reduce reoffending'.
The action plan informs the ministry's third sector strategy and aims to reduce barriers to third sector involvement in reducing reoffending.
The review reports on what has been delivered since the action plan was published in October 2008 and gives details of work in progress. It includes the views of the Reducing Reoffending Advisory Group and the group's proposals for further development.
