These two reports on the resettlement of short-term prisoners were published by the Home Office Research and Statistics Directorate (RDS).
Findings 200
These findings are from an evaluation study of seven pilot programmes which aimed to reduce reoffending through effective resettlement work, provided in custody and for up to three months post-release on a voluntary basis. Three of the seven used a short programme, Focus on Resettlement (FOR), based on motivational and cognitive behavioural principles.
